List of MTV Video Music Awards 2019 Winners


Taylor Swift jaw-dropping performance kicked off the opening of MTV’s VMA followed by Lil Nas X’s bang-bang performance. The award show saw some biggest music sensational stars receiving awards on stage on August 26 at the Prudential Center in Newark. This marked the first-ever VMA to be held in New Jersey. 

The list of the winners goes outnumbered with awards including Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish. Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco made his debut as the award show host while Missy Elliot was applauded by the artists for her impeccable performance featuring the ‘Work It’ dancer Alyson Stoner.

Missy Elliot received the Video Vineguard Award for her decade long career she has sewed throughout these years of music-making her the first female emcee to be awarded such an award.


The show also introduced its first-ever Fashion Trailblazer award which was received by the designer Marc Jacobs and his contributions had been celebrated amongst the artists and fellow musicians.


These artists and musicians with their days of hard-work have showcased their talent and creativity by framing a different definition of Music and have marked stupendous impressions within our hearts. Here goes the list of VMA 2019 winners.

Video Music Awards marked nominations of various artists with Taylor and Ariana being highest in number followed by Billie Eilish with nine and Lil Nas X with eight nominations. The show started to gel up with various presenters appearing at the pre-show followed by the main ceremony.
