Top features of Google Nest Mini you need to know!

Google Nest Mini which has an ultrasonic sensor to detect user’s proximity lights up volume increase and decrease options. This mini-small sized speaker has smart functions by the search giant that went on sale this week. The new model came after Google Home Mini that that was launched globally in 2017, whereas in India it was launched in the market back in April last year.

Google mentioned that the Nest Mini speaker is designed to offer a smarter and faster experience over the predecessor Home Mini. This mini machine has a learning chip installed inside it to quickly process Google Assistant commands. Users can also control their smart lights and cameras directly from the Home Mini speaker. Also, Nest Mini can be connected to other Nest smart speakers and displays to enjoy a sound system altogether.


Google Nest Mini looks similar to the former Google Home Mini with the same fabric top and plastic-made covering. Offering a wall-mount, Google has come up with this new model to let you enlarge your shelf and make it spacious since you can now hang the Nest Mini on your walls. One of the interesting features of this gadget is that when audio is played, the speaker turns on lights as one moves closer which is how you have full control over the volume. By tapping on the top of the Nest Mini, you can simply play or pause the media. Furthermore, there is a Micro-USB port that helps you charge the speaker.

Google claims that the fabric top of the Nest Mini is made from 100 percent recycled plastic bottles and the external capping is also said to be made from 35 percent post-consumer recycled plastic.
