What is IPMAT?
IPMAT is a National level Exam for undergraduate students in Management
stream. Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) 2019 was

IPMAT 2019- Qualifying Exam Eligibility Criteria
- It
is compulsory to have English as one of the 10+2 subjects.
- Candidates
who are appearing in 10+2 exam are eligible to appear for IPMAT 2019.
- Candidates
are required to have a minimum of 60% marks in class X and XII

IPMAT 2019 Section - Fair Exam Analysis by PRATHAM
1. Verbal Ability (MCQ & SA): This section was of easy level with 40 questions which could be
completed easily in 40 minutes suggested by the expert team of PRATHAM. Fill in
the blanks section was of an easy level that tested the grammar concept of
students.

2. Quantitative Ability (SA): From 2019, IPMAT had a separate short answer type section for Math
which consists of a total of 20 questions. For this section, there was no
negative marking. This section was of moderate level. Maximum questions were
from Progression, log, Matrix & Determination.

3. Quantitative Ability (MCQ): The level of difficulty of this section was similar to 2018. Overall the
section was difficult but complex number topic was missing. This section was
lengthy with Moderate to Difficult level.

IPMAT SELECTION PROCESS POST CLEARING THE ENTRANCE
EXAM
Competition is certainly high as there are only 120 seats for this
management programme. On the basis of cut off, IIM will shortlist the
candidates for the Personal Interview (PI) round. Performance in the test and
Personal Interview will be considered for the final selection process. It is
also noted that only those candidates whose raw scores in both the sections are
positive will be considered for shortlisting for PI and WAT
WAT- PI is the next stage of the selection process for IIM Indore
Management Process. All the shortlisted candidates will appear for these rounds.
- For
Personal Interview, candidates will be judged according to their general
knowledge, communication skills, Academics, confidence and persuasion
skills.
- For
WAT, Candidates have to write an Essay on the given topic.
Final selection is based on the performance of candidates in these last
two rounds. A category wise merit list will be generated and certain weightage
will be assigned to different categories.
