This girl not only thrived to motivate the leaders through her 6 minute strongly-worded speech, but she also called for help from the world leaders saying that ‘the eyes of future generations’ are upon them.

Who is Greta Thunberg?

Greta Thunberg is a Swedish environmental activist highly focused on the risk posed by climate change. This teen took an initiative starting August 2018 taking time off school to hold a protest outside the Swedish parliament calling for extreme climate action. She has since been the leader of numerous students following her to protest in the community.

How did she emerge?

Greta strived to look out for a change by organizing school climate strike movement every week calling it ‘Fridays for Future.’ Since then Miss Thunberg has urged world leaders to take immediate, necessary actions to address the ‘climate crisis’ in all her speeches. Galvanising a new vibe of climate change activism, she became the voice of the degrading environment and climate ever since she came in action.
