True sportsmen not only make the country proud but they inspire other people to follow their dreams and nurture their passion. 1. Magic Johnson


Magic Johnson has been observed as the best basketball player and this man is the true embodiment of passion and diligence altogether. After discovering that he is HIV positive, he took this news with a lot of composure while everybody else was terrified and alarmed. Yet he played for the U.S.Dream Team in the year 1992. 2. Jim Brown


Jim Brown retired from the game of American football only when he was 29. His 9 year career in the field is looked up to even today. Becoming the sole rusher in the history of the NFL, he averaged more than 100 yards per game. With his outstanding football tricks, he also outshined as a very good lacrosse player and was enlisted into NCAA’s Lacrosse Hall of Fame.

First man to win the unchallenged world heavyweight boxing title thrice is a legend with some frisky skills. Jackie Robinson broke the colour barrier in major league baseball in 1947 with Brooklyn Dodgers being an African-American. His 311 batting average proved the criticisers wrong that spat at him and called him names. He set an example of perseverance and hard work through his endless top performances. He was then recognized as the National League Rookie of the year, most valuable player followed by getting inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame breaking the stereotypes in 1962. Robinson compelled Americans to change their perception towards society through his grace and performances.

7. Cristiano Ronaldo


Ronaldo is one inspiring personality with who he has become in the long run of following his passion for football. People aspire to become like him for the way he carries himself through all the adversities through persistent hard work. Ranked as one of the best players in the world, he made his career outshine from a poor boy to stardom which is very motivating.
