Kick-Ass Life by Mark Twain

"Let us live so that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry".

You may know Mark Twain from his popular books like ‘The Adventure of Tom Sawyer’ and ‘Adventures of Huckleberry Finn’. Mark Twain was a lecturer, writer, humorist, journalist, essayist, novelist and what not. He is ranked among the popular American literary figures.

Twain is also known as Samuel Langhorne Clemens ( S.L.C) born in Florida in 1835. At the age of 12, he was compelled to cease all his studies and start apprenticing as Junior Type-Setter for the newspaper. In this period Twain contributed the best piece of Carpet-Bag to great Boston Magazine under pseudonyms S.L.C.

As an official correspondent in New York Tribunes, Daily Morning, Alta Morning and Quaker city he became a real literature figure. Twain is particularly known for his funny quotes.

Below are my favourite’s tips from Mark Twain’s life

1. All your limitations may be only in your mind

"Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter".

In our minds, many limitations are still there. At some instance, we might think that other people will disapprove them because we are too balding, too tall, or too old. Actually, these things matter only when you become self-conscious and worry about other people’s thinking. People will react in a negative way and target you always. You may interpret their negative reaction as you are so conscious but always stay focused on your own self.

2. Always Approve Yourself

"Without his own approvals, A man can never be comfortable".

If you don’t approve of your actions and behaviour then probably you will be uncomfortable with your own feelings. You tend to become comfortable, happy and gain inner freedom if you approve your thoughts accordingly. In related ways, this can be a great obstacle in your growth. So stay positive and approve yourself that you will do as per your choice and let go tendency.

3. Let go away anger

"Anger is an acid that can do harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured".

Anger is pretty pointless most of the times and sometimes causes a lot of situations to get out of your hand. From a selfish perspective, it is often more painful for the person who gets angry than on the person he vents out anger on. Even if you feel angry someday recognize that you are actually hurting yourself. Either talk to the person, let go of anger or resolve the conflict. These are some good tips for making your life pleasurable.

4. Lighten up as a happy person and have fun

"Greatest blessing to mankind is Humour".

In our life, laughter and humour are amazing tools as they can turn an angry and serious person into jolly nature person. Better space to work is often because of a light mood. You shouldn’t fill your mind with negative thoughts.

Last but not least, is to express gratitude, as it alone can make you a happy person and improve your health with a lot of amazing benefits. You should always be grateful for many things around you. Always overwhelm yourself with gratitude and practice gratitude every day. This will change your life!
