This competitive exam was initially launched in alliance with National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), The Time International Finance Olympiad (IFO) by the International Institute of Financial Markets and the Economic Times is for students from classes 8th to 12th. International Finance Olympiad 2019 invites applications from students of class 8th to 12th. Students can participate from Schools or individually through the website www.financeolympiad.in
Important Dates & Facts
The last date to apply for the Olympiad is 30th August 2019. The school-level MCQ round will take place from 1st September 2018 to 15th November 2019. After this students will reach the regional-level round, students scoring above 60% in the school round are then eligible for the regional round that will begin from 16th November 2019 and end on 24th December 2019. The pattern includes written round, Audiovisual round and crossword puzzles in a duration of 2 hours.
For Final Round 4 member team is selected from 6 Regions and called to Delhi for on Stage Quiz Completion -The International Grand Finale to compete for Cash scholarship worth Rs 1.6 Lac.
Students registering at National and International level competition has an added advantage as they get an Internationally recognized certification at every level and a chance to compete for Rs 2 Lakhs cash scholarship and become a ‘Financial Literate’ at a young age.
With the provisions of exclusive study material for all classes and access to online learning portal (LMS) which include brief about the content through video lectures and practice papers through quizzes in this account. The series of competitions from school level to regional and then Finale gives multi-fold exposure to the students.
